Shooting the breeze with Breezie

БогородицаRecently a friend of mine ended up with having a bunch of guitars and other equipment that she needed to get rid of, she advertised them locally but could not get a good price on them since most of them had been fairly new and in excellent shape. I answered her phone one day regarding some of the equipment and was ask about a snark tuner, which up to that point I had never heard of, but guess it had something to do with the guitars. The phone call came in from Colorado, which really surprised us that it make it that far, at the end of that day most of the guitars where packed up and sent to the guy on the phone. It amazes me how the information with the help of the internet made it as far as it did.

Well, my Bursitis, or what I was told was Bursitis ended up with me going to see my PCP to find out that I have a terrible case of Tendonitis, the pain got so bad that my pain meds had not been giving me much relief at all. I ended up on a short term course of steroids in order to be able to even move my arm, It was suggested that I use an arm sling to restrict the movement, I have not done that yet, but may have to in the future. I have been off the steroids now for about a week and not doing to bad, only time will tell if and when the pain will return or get as bad as what it had been.

We have had some pretty high winds here over the past few days, I guess we are lucky being that we set back in the woods and under so darn many large oak trees, lucky that they have not caused much damage and only cleanup from branches falling out. Our neighbor was not quite a fortunate since he had a tree limb fall on his RV, so now he is looking for someone that can do a good job with rv repair. Bet ya he will think twice about where he parks it from now on since the entire roof is caved in.

No one can really complain much about this winter here in PA at all, we have not had much snow to deal with at all, and even the temps have been easy to live with. Yesterday it felt like spring, today is about the same, can even go outside with just a light weight coat on. Its been raining more this winter than anything, so that means the yard is pretty saturated and seems like its not going to dry up for awhile yet, you know its wet, I mean really wet when it tries to suck your shoes right off your feet…lol

I was ridding out a closet just a few days ago and I came across a really old Poloroid camera, that camera has to be every bit of 40 years old, I bet it would even still work, but not sure there is even film made for them anymore. Everything has gone to digital, I have a good 35mm camera, but nothing beats my canon digital cameras for easy and good quality pictures.

I am having such a hard time with anxiety, it seems to be related to my pain and goes hand in hand with it. I have Xanax but don’t take it on a daily basis under the recommendation of my Doctor. I have tried a good B Complex, I have better success with the Stress Tabs than what I do the other straight B Complex formulas found out there. I am searching now for Homeopathic remedies to take the edge off. The edge vary rarely goes away, I have to keep myself away from Stress and a few known triggers or I go into a full blown panic attack, and unless you have experienced them yourself, you have no idea what they feel like. Right now I am so tired, I really need sleep, but when I lay down is when my pain starts because I have either Bursitis or Tendonitis in both my shoulders. I have an appointment with my Doctor tomorrow and going to talk to her about what I can do in order to at least try and get a good nights sleep.

Way back in the 70′s I lived in Los Angeles for around 5 years. Now I live in the country and as much as I really love it, there are times that I do miss the convenience of city living. In LA I lived within blocks of anything that anyone could possible every want, and that included a los angeles rehab center. I always lived on a top floor, I never felt comfortable living on a ground floor and every noise in the night would wake me up, so I moved to a top floor apartment within a few months of moving to LA. There are times now that I really wish I did not need a car to even go get a gallon of milk and the older I get the more I am missing city living.

This has really been a mild winter for us here in PA. I really should not complain, but I really just wish it would get cold and stay cold, one day its in the 50′s and then the next its back down to the normal winter temps for this area. I have Asthma and this winter has been really hard for me to get adjusted, the fact is that my body is not able to adjust one way or the other, the cold just knocks me for a loop and as careful as I try to be I end up with a full blown attack before my breathing will start to ease up again. I do have a nebulizer on hand and have had to use it more this winter than I have had to for years.

Well another Christmas has now come and gone. I had a really great one, I hope you did too. I always have last minute shopping, each year I try and convince myself to get my shopping done early, but the truth is that I can find some really good last minutes deals on the last few days before Christmas. My son is pretty easy to shop for, he enjoys anything to do with the outdoors, I got him a really nice kelty backpack and filled it full of things such as flash lights and batteries and other things he might need when he is camping or hiking, he was tickled when he opened it and seen what all was inside.

I don’t even know where to start with this sleeping problem of mine. But right now I would KILL for a good nights sleep. I am not a back sleeper, never have been and never will be and there in is my problem. I have Bursitis in both my shoulders, so that means that sleeping on either side has become impossible, so I fall asleep usually on my back and then I end up rolling over onto my side and then the pain will wake me up in a few hours, its a non stop pattern and even the sleep aids do little to help me. I have thought about surgery for the bursitis, but am really not on board with that as of yet. For now I just do regular Chiropractic adjustments, exercises and ultrasound therapy to try and help it to heal, my left shoulder is finally starting to feel better, the Burcitis has only been in my right arm now for a few months and it is far worse than what the left side is.
